Resume

Summary
I love Information Technology. From Servers to Websites, PC to Mac and Cell Phones to Routers, I love it all.
As a result I have amassed a lot of hours working with wide and various PC and networking technologies such as servers (Windows, MacOS and some Linux), networking equipment (Cisco and HP predominantly) and client devices (PCs, handhelds, laptops, printers, etc.) As I have grown as an Technology Professional, my responsibilities have grown as well, moving from simply a PC tech, responsible for simple break/fix and new PC installations, to a full Sr. Network Engineer, responsible for the design, implementation and support of small to mid-size (2-10 servers) networks. In undergrad I earned an art/design background which has come in quite handy in my career, by teaching me new ways to look at situations. I have applied these skills on a consistent basis to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to problems that I have encountered during my time as an Engineer.
My skills and experience have prepared me to move into the next stage: the higher-level positions in IT/MIS, such as IT Project Lead/Manager, and then subsequently Director/Manager of Information Security.
Ultimately my professional goal is twofold - first, to be an IT decision-maker for a company (CTO, CIO or IT Manager). Second, when I retire, I would like to pass on all of my skills and knowledge to the next generation of technology professionals in the role of University Professor.
